Non-singular pre-big bang scenarios from all-order α′ corrections

A bstract We reformulate in Hamiltonian language the recent proposal by Hohm and Zwiebach of an action yielding most general O ( d , )-symmetric string cosmology equations, at tree-level string-loop expansion, but to all orders α′ expansion. This allows us give a simple characterization large class non-singular, non-perturbative, pre-big bang scenarios smoothly interpolating between low-energy initial accelerated (string frame) expansion phase final Einstein decelerated Interestingly, these solutions must necessarily include, just around bounce, very short (string-frame) contraction.
